End of the year nostalgia

So I guess this begins here, at the end of my second semester at TSN. It's a strange time for me, kind of. I have just completed the semester of hell, both grade wise, work wise, and family wise. It's such a relief to find closure. However, I'm finding myself wondering how I will deal with 8 weeks away from the newsroom, because since August it's been more of my home than anyplace else - whether I liked it or not.

In the meantime, while I'm looking back not forward, I have to remember I have two finals on Wednesday, both which I have procrastinating studying for effectively. And also, in 15 days, I leave for my study abroad trip to the British Isles. Which is unreal to me, and still feels like a year away.

I have no list, nothing packed, and a ton of imaginary plans which need to be set in stone.

And it's 8:30 a.m. and I definitely could be sleeping right now, but I'm not. I'm still tired, exhausted, and haven't caught up on sleep from three nights of drinking, particularly the last one which was probably one of the best nights with the TSN family I've ever had.

I guess that's all. The point of this blog will be to chronicle my trip, and when it's done, to rant and rave about my TSN career and discuss journalism ideas. I suppose haha.
